Like so many in the insurance industry, I fell into it. I was done with school, teaching preschool, and realized I did not want to continue teaching. I took a receptionist position at a small, well-established insurance agency in Carmel, CA.  I planned on staying with the job for a year at most, while I figured out what I really wanted to do. Within two years I was licensed and serving as the lone High Net Worth Account Manager in the Personal Lines Department. That was 2008 and I haven’t looked back! My career has included both the Commercial and Personal sides of insurance, and I love offering clients one point of contact to handle their personal and business insurance needs. I also worked briefly for a national insurance company and found that their capacity and guidelines were too restrictive to properly serve my clients. I love that CAL has a robust group of companies to offer a broad range of coverages that we can tailor to the needs of our clients. People are not  ‘one size fits all’ and I have learned that your Insurance Agency shouldn’t be either!

Outside of work, you will often find me in nature soaking up the beauty of the Monterey Peninsula. I love to hike, cook and am always chasing after my daughter, Amelia. I also have a dedicated meditation practice that I feel really helps me stay focused, which is priceless when dealing with this ever-evolving insurance industry.
