Good news for Chubb auto clients in California!
In accordance with directives issued by California’s Insurance Commissioner, we will be issuing a second round of COVID-19 auto premium refunds in the amount of $70 per vehicle for our clients in California for the month of June. Refunds will be issued to clients with policies in force between June 1 and June 30, 2020. Checks will be mailed to your clients automatically no later than December 4th, so there is no action needed on your part. The refund does not apply to vehicles classified as “Collector Vehicles,” “Corporate Vehicles,” or “Other Vehicles,” such as mopeds or recreational vehicles, as these rates already contemplate limited or minimal road usage.
The additional COVID-19 Shelter-in-Place refund reflects our continued commitment to providing a fair cost for coverage, while ensuring our clients receive Chubb’s best-in-class auto protection.
