Meet Kristina Vaughn
How long have you been in the industry & how did you get started?
I began as a receptionist for an insurance agency right out of high school. I then worked my way up and got licensed as a P&C agent, in an effort to further my career and be closer to my daughter’s school I moved to another agency where I took on the position of personal lines manager. Now, with the goal to remain home and present for my kids (you can see a pattern here) I have chosen the great path of becoming a part of the amazing team they have here at CAL. That would make me 10 years deep into my insurance career.
Briefly describe what you do at CAL:
I am an account manager hoping to provide the upmost best customer service possible.
Which CAL core value do you most identify with?
Being a team player. I am a huge believer that your own success is deeply rooted in the success of your team and the people you spend most of your time with, so I have always implemented being a team player in my life both personal and professional. The fact that CAL works like a well-oiled machine is conducive to the fact that everyone here truly is a team player.
What do you enjoy doing in your leisure time?
My “happy place” is spending time with my husband and kids Rhilynne (9) and Bryson (5 Months), When I’m not MOMing it up, you may see me passing by on my hot pink Harley Sportster or at the local gym weight training.
What did you want to be when you were kid?
I was a competitive dancer from age 8-17 so if you would have asked me what I would be when I grew up back then I would have told you that I was going to be a ballet star on Broadway!
