Meet Naomi Milano
How & when did you get started in the industry?
I made the switch to the insurance industry in 2016 from being an Athletic Trainer and EMT. I was looking for a change and a very good family friend of mine took me under her wing and showed me a new career path.
Briefly describe what you do at CAL:
I currently work as an Account Manager servicing my own clients, as well as supporting the Account Executives – stepping in wherever I am needed! I am also training to become an Insurance Advisor which I am hoping to make the full switch to within the next year.
Which CAL core value do you most identify with?
We are team players – this would be my top choice, however it is a very close tie with delivering an extraordinary client experience.
What do you enjoy doing in your leisure time?
In my spare time I love being outside and playing with my kids. My family is always on the go, whether it is boating/wakeboarding in the summer or spending time at our family cabin in the Sierras snowmobiling and snowboarding in the winter. We are always traveling and love exploring new places.
What’s the best piece of advice you have ever received?
The best piece of advice I have ever received was very recently. I was told to always know my worth and never let anyone stand in the way of reaching my goals. Change can be scary but life is too short not to go after what I want – just always remember the people who helped along the way.
